The University of Southampton has been awarded MRC funding to stimulate research between engineering and medicine with a goal of developing new technology to address health problems.

This Microsoft Teams event is designed to bring​ clinicians and engineers together to solve pressing health-related issues.

This event will begin promptly at 9:30 and include an introduction by Na'el Clark, Commercial Director of UHS, followed by series of speakers and concluding at 12:00.

9:30 – 9:35: Welcome (Chair Professor Ying Cheong and Professor Adriane Chapman)

9:35 – 9:45: Icebreaker – question/activity to be determined. 50 breakout rooms automatically populated.

9:45 – 10:35:

10:40-11:30: Cross-pollination Breakout Activity. 8 Breakout rooms as per each Clinical area. Everyone shuffle into them.

11:30-11:45: Technical travel and issues.

11:45 – 12:00: Where could we go, and what support do we have – Na’el Clark

12:00-12:05: Wrap up
